Mortgage rates fall below 6% for the first time in more than 3 years
It has been tough sledding for Buyers and Sellers alike for the past four years, at least when it comes to being motivated to get back into the "Real Estate Game".
Sellers don't want to sell because their current interest rate is so "attractive". Buyers don't want to pull the trigger because interest rates have stayed "unattractive" for months on end.
But finally, a huge break-through as we make our way through the first quarter of 2026. For the first time since the fall of 2022, interest rates have dropped below 6 percent. It's a drop that may be the "push" Buyers need to go buy a new place and for Sellers to put their home up for sale.
